Legal Liability

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This page sets out the limits of QuantVoro's liability to you. Read it with the User Agreement, which governs your use of the platform generally.

1. The basis on which we provide the service

We provide the platform on the basis of current technology and current conditions. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will follow from using it. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from the circumstances described below.

2. Circumstances outside our control

  • Failures of telecommunications networks, internet service providers, power supply or third-party hosting.
  • Outages, halts, delays or erroneous data at exchanges, liquidity venues, price feeds or blockchain networks.
  • Failures, delays or reversals in banking and payment systems.
  • Government action, regulatory intervention, court orders, sanctions, war, civil unrest, epidemic, or natural disaster.
  • Attacks on infrastructure we depend on, including denial-of-service attacks and compromises of third-party providers.

3. Matters within your control

We are not responsible for losses caused by:

  • Disclosure or loss of your login credentials, security password, or two-factor device.
  • Instructions given from your account, including trades placed and withdrawal addresses entered.
  • Sending assets to a wrong address, or to an address on an unsupported network.
  • Malware, phishing or unauthorised software on your own device.
  • Your failure to meet a margin call or to monitor an open position.

Withdrawal addresses cannot be corrected once a transaction is broadcast. Check the address and the network before you confirm.

4. Maintenance and suspension

We may suspend all or part of the service for maintenance, upgrades, or to address a security or integrity problem. Where planned downtime can be announced in advance, we announce it. We are not liable for losses arising from a suspension carried out in good faith, including positions that could not be opened or closed during it.

5. Third-party content and services

The platform may display data, research or links originating with third parties. We do not endorse that content, do not guarantee its accuracy, and are not liable for decisions taken on the strength of it. Dealings with a third party are between you and that third party.

6. Trading losses

Market outcomes are not our responsibility. Losses resulting from price movement, from your own trading decisions, or from the performance of any strategy offered on the platform, are yours. Nothing here is investment advice, and no return is guaranteed.

7. Errors in pricing or execution

Where a trade is executed on a manifestly erroneous price — a data-feed fault rather than a genuine market move — we may void the trade and return the stake. Where our own error causes you a direct loss, we will correct the account entry; our liability is limited to that correction.

8. Limits and exclusions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, however arising. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing on this page excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

9. Your responsibility to us

You are responsible for losses we incur as a result of your breach of the User Agreement, your misuse of the platform, or your infringement of anyone else's rights.

10. Raising a problem

If you believe an entry in your account is wrong, raise it through live chat as soon as you notice it, with the reference from your transaction history. Claims raised promptly can be investigated against complete records; claims raised long afterwards often cannot.
